The CASP+ (SecurityX) certification is an international, vendor-neutral exam that proves competency in enterprise security; risk management; research and analysis; and integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines.
The exam covers the technical knowledge and skills required to conceptualize, design, and engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments. It involves applying critical thinking and judgment across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers.
The CASP+ certificate provides an opportunity for training organizations to offer enterprise-specific, hands-on education in the area of IT security while also extending the depth of their security curriculum path as a whole. While there is no required pre-requisite, the CASP+ certification is intended for a CompTIA Security+ certification holder, but would ideally be achieved before a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) certification.
