Disclosures & Program Policies
At Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training, we are committed to transparency, performance standards, and student success. The following disclosures outline the policies, eligibility requirements, and performance expectations associated with enrollment in our training programs.
Our programs are structured around measurable outcomes and accountability. To protect students, preserve program integrity, and maintain our documented success rates, certain benchmarks and eligibility requirements must be met.
We strongly encourage all prospective students to carefully review the policies below prior to enrollment. By enrolling in any Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training program, students acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in these disclosures.
Pass on the First Attempt Guarantee
At Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training, our standard is clear: Pass on the First Attempt.
Enrollment in our program includes eligibility for an exam voucher or exam reimbursement as part of a comprehensive, performance-based training system. Exam vouchers or reimbursements are not sold as standalone items and are not automatically issued upon enrollment or class completion.
They are earned through successful completion of required performance benchmarks designed to ensure true exam readiness.
Our guarantee exists to protect students from premature exam attempts, preserve documented pass rates, and maintain the integrity of our training programs.
Exam Voucher & Exam Reimbursement Release Policy
An exam voucher will be issued, or an exam reimbursement approved, only after the student has successfully completed all required program performance metrics.
These performance benchmarks are designed to:
-
Confirm exam readiness
-
Reinforce mastery of required domains
-
Protect student outcomes
-
Maintain program standards
Exam vouchers or reimbursements will not be released prior to satisfactory completion of all required performance requirements.
Retake Policy Under the Pass on the First Attempt Guarantee
In the rare event that a student fully completes all required performance benchmarks and does not pass the certification exam on the first attempt, the Pass on the First Attempt Guarantee includes eligibility for one retake.
Retake eligibility requires:
-
Completion of all required performance metrics prior to the first attempt
-
Submission of official exam results documentation
-
Re-enrollment in and completion of the full training program again, including all required phases and benchmarks
The re-completion requirement allows us to systematically evaluate performance gaps, reinforce weak domains, and ensure the highest probability of success on the next attempt.
The guarantee is designed to correct performance breakdowns — not to fund repeated testing without remediation.
Access Period & Eligibility Window
Access to course materials, digital courseware, lab environments, recordings, learning management systems, and eligibility for exam voucher or reimbursement is valid for one (1) year from the start date of class.
All required performance milestones must be completed and voucher or reimbursement requests submitted within this one-year period.
Failure to complete program requirements within the designated timeframe results in forfeiture of:
-
Exam voucher eligibility
-
Exam reimbursement eligibility
-
Retake eligibility
Non-Qualifying Students & Re-Enrollment Policy
Students who do not qualify under the Pass on the First Attempt Guarantee — including those who:
-
Sit for the exam without meeting required performance metrics
-
Do not complete all required program phases
-
Allow the one-year access period to expire
-
Fail to request voucher or reimbursement within the eligibility window
may re-enroll in the program at 50% of the current listed retail tuition at the time of re-enrollment.
Re-enrollment restores access to the current version of course materials, lab environments, instruction (live or recorded where applicable), and required program phases.
Exam voucher or reimbursement eligibility is not automatic under re-enrollment and must be re-earned by successfully completing all required performance metrics in full.
Re-enrollment tuition is calculated based on 50% of the course’s listed retail price at the time of request — not the student’s original purchase price.
All Sales Final
Because proprietary materials, digital courseware, lab environments, instructional content, and downloadable resources are made available immediately upon enrollment, all sales are final once payment is processed and access is granted.
No refunds, cancellations, transfers, or extensions will be issued after materials have been distributed, except in documented extraordinary circumstances at the sole discretion of Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training.
