This Privacy Policy applies to ericreedlive.com and to the training, student and texting services offered under the name Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training. Thank you for choosing Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
2. Information We Collect
When you use our services, we may collect the following information:
- Personal identification information: Name, email address, phone number, etc.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and version, time zone setting, location, etc.
- How you found us: the ad, link or campaign that first brought you to our website, the page you first landed on and the website that sent you there (see Section 7).
- Text messaging data: if you text us or use our Text Us form, your name, mobile number, the messages you send and your consent to receive texts (see Section 11).
- Any other information you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To provide and operate our services.
- To improve and customize our services to you.
- To communicate with you, including responding to your comments or questions.
- For marketing and promotions.
4. How We Protect Your Information
We have implemented appropriate security measures to protect the information we collect, including:
- Using encryption for sensitive data.
- Regularly monitoring our systems for vulnerabilities.

7. Cookies and Analytics
Our website (ericreedlive.com) and our learning site (lms.ericreedlive.com) use cookies and similar technologies to keep the sites working (for example, your cart, checkout and sign-in), to remember your choices, and to measure how the sites are used.
How you found us. When you first visit our website, we save a small cookie, for 90 days, that remembers the ad, link or campaign that brought you, the page you landed on and the website that sent you. We do not save anything you typed into a web address. If you later fill out one of our forms or buy a course, we save this information with your inquiry or order so we know which of our ads and pages are working.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics on both sites to see, in total, which pages are visited and how people move through them. On our learning site it also counts a few learning steps: signing in, finishing a lesson, submitting a quiz (with pass or fail and a score range, not your exact score) and finishing a course. We do not send Google your name, email address, account number or exact scores. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalization for our analytics, and we do not use learning-site activity for advertising. Google processes this information for us under its data processing terms. You can block it with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or your browser settings.
We do not use cookies to collect your mobile number for texting. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to tell you when a cookie is being sent. If you turn cookies off, some features, such as checkout and signing in to the learning site, may not work.

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the ‘Last Updated’ date at the top of this document.

11. Text Messaging (SMS)
Eric Reed Cybersecurity Training, a trade name of ITRx Training LLC, sends text messages from our business number, (707) 722-7333, only to people who ask us to (see below). We reply by text to questions you send us about our classes, schedules, enrollment and course access. We do not send marketing text blasts.
How you opt in. You opt in by filling out the form at https://ericreedlive.com/text-us/ and checking the consent box, or by texting (707) 722-7333 first. You do not have to agree to receive texts to buy a class from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. After you reply STOP we will send one message confirming you are opted out, and we will not text you again unless you ask us to.
When you text us, we collect your mobile number, the content of your messages and when they were sent. We use this information only to respond to you and keep a record of our conversation. Our texting platform and wireless carriers process it to deliver messages for us.
No sharing of mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our texting platform, is permitted. All other categories of sharing in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. This section applies even where Section 3 or Section 5 of this policy says otherwise.

12. Student Learning Records and Exam Results
When you use our learning site (lms.ericreedlive.com), we keep your course progress, practice results and the records you add to Career HQ. If you report a certification exam result, we collect the exam, date, pass or fail, your score if you give it, and your score report file. We use this to add a pass to your Certification Wallet and track renewals, to handle Pass on the First Attempt Guarantee retakes, to help you plan next steps, and to measure how well our courses prepare students. To measure this, our learning site also sends Google Analytics a few learning steps without your name, email address, account number or exact score, as described in Section 7. We use them only as course statistics. Score reports are stored privately on our learning site, can be opened only by you and Eric Reed, and every view is logged. We do not share your results with an employer, sponsor, group leader, funding program (including Army Credentialing Assistance), partner or certification vendor unless you choose to, and we never sell them. We use your name, story or score in marketing only with your separate written permission, which you can withdraw. We delete score report files 1 year after upload, or when a Guarantee retake that relies on them closes, whichever is later. Other learning records stay while you have an account. You may delete your uploads at any time or ask us to delete your records by emailing eric@ericreedlive.com; we complete requests within 30 days. Course statistics are kept without names.
